I found you! And the photos of Maia. I’m thinking I need to find a way for her to look more happy. She looks rather disgruntled which is usually not her nature.
Beautiful photos you have here. You really know how to capture the essence of Bellingham.

I sat on Thom Bishop’s Bench today, on a ridge off the walkway overlooking B’ham Bay, and was intrigued by the placard w/ Bishop’s dates of birth & death, at 19 years, & the inclusion of the rest of his family in the dedication memorial. When I got home I googled Thom Bishop & read the sweet & evocative writings someone connected to Bellingham Bay blog, written in Dec. 2011. I would like to write something to the person who wrote the B.B.piece but there was no name, just the Dec. 2011 date. If you know who that person is, from almost 11 years ago, could you please forward this message to him/her? His seemingly untimely death, and the rumination of the blog writer really struck a chord with what happen to Thom & a similar experience I had when I was 20 years old in 1971, and also with the intuitive feelings the writer had for that space & time in his/her life. It reminded me too of J.D.Salinger’s short story ‘Teddy’ Thanks, Randall Ferguson ( ps, I’m not on nor do I use Facebook or twitter or any other social media except email)
